Sandy Cohen has been a journalist in her native Los Angeles for 20 years. 

Her stories have appeared on thousands of news sites around the world and in newspapers across the country, including the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Washington Post and Boston Globe.

From 2005 to 2018, Sandy covered entertainment for The Associated Press in Los Angeles, where she wrote about film, television, music and celebrities for the AP's daily audience of nearly a billion readers internationally. Sandy has interviewed almost every star you can imagine, from Elizabeth Taylor and Oprah Winfrey to Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus.

Sandy has also written for InStyle and American Way magazines and is working on her first book.

Sandy is a bit of a health nut and loves learning and writing about health and wellness. She is a runner, yogini, Zumba dancer, spa enthusiast and graduate student in health and wellness coaching at University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point.

An adventurer and explorer at heart, Sandy loves to travel in her free time and has visited more than 40 countries on six continents.

She speaks Spanish fluently, loves words and people (animals included), and enjoys being a writer because it allows her to connect intimately with the world.
